Born on 14.3.1952 in Aarau.
School attendance in Aarau, 2 years of grammar school, drawing lessons
with later curator at the Kunsthaus, Heiny Widmer.
First attempts as a painter. Aside to that breadwinning as a house painter.
Since 1973 participation at the christmas exhibitions in Aarau.
1977 contribution of promotion by curatorship.
1987 contribution of work by curatorship.
1998 nude drawing with Giorgio Wolf, Lenzburg
Since 2004, with support of Malerei Härdi, painting on commission of different types,

Informtaion about my paintings 

cadmium red, chrome oxide yellow, cobalt blue
-nature’s beauty against artificiality, poison and destruction
-natural power against artificial beauty and concrete covered safety

Green
-forest, wilderness, vegetation, oxygen, life, silence, recovery, place of refuge in times of conventional war
-poison green, poison plants, the devil’s colour
-agricultural products, hothouse, genetic technology, oxygen, combustion, green material
-alchemy green gold, who doesn’t belong to? You can have as much as you want of it – but then what is it worth?
-the “mythological forest”, internal shelter, if the forest is dying, will the “mythological forest” die as well?

Concrete
-architecture, civilisation, sharp edges, guard, protection against natural power

Apocalypse
-concrete destroying green, green covers and burst concrete
-alternate play between the forces of wilderness and the power of civilisation
-circulation of birth and death, beginning and ending of the world
-fence, border, walls-refuge or prison?
-telecommunication system, military radar units and condensation trails covering the sky with an accurate framework, always sensible –you got the impression that somebody is watching OVER you –the taboo

Red
-blood, the internal, the combustion, the subversive, love, the prohibition, undermining the virtual protection –framework
-making you feel afraid, you better watch out

The elemental ritual
-the mountain, the hole (care), concrete, clay
-the building, the androgynous
-outward appearance: edged, guarded, static, high ranking, phallic
-inward appearance: the interior space, giving safety and shelter, vaginal
