my inspirations:
(To write or talk about myself and my art is somehow strange. If it cannot be prevented I would describe it as follows:)
harmony, power and aesthetic is what I look for –
and sometimes I find it in forms of earthy nature or bony animal forms,
those I reproduce sometimes in the curves of very feminine women who not at all possess the current model measures, sometimes in eyes and mouths of fish heads and perhaps tomorrow in entirely different forms.
To my relief paintings:
encouraged through animal trophies out of the time around 1900 which decorated the walls of my grandma’s house, a fascination begins for all bony.
For others morbid, (dead) bones radiate power for me and possess an exemplary aesthetics in their forms.
Since I live more and more in the Provence of south of France I receive in addition many inspiration through the barren rock landscapes, stone formation and again and again through the different forms of earth.
Those are the elements findable in the motives of modulated relief paintings.
